Production Level Folders fold all three sizes of paper as well as even larger sizes in some cases. Folding applications are usually a thousand to several thousand at a time (more likely several thousand at a time).
The key word here is "production." These folders need to meet speed requirements because production speed is an issue to meet competitive pricing for folding as well as time requirements for meeting deadlines. An example would be the need to fold 10,000 sheets in the next hour and a half to meet a mailing deadline. Production folders usually have added options such as the capability to add perfing and scoring to the material as it is folded.
